Japanese Ramen Simulator: Gyoza & Rice Bowls Guide
Plan gyoza and rice-bowl service, distinguish confirmed menu names and check launch-patch fixes for rice heating and loaded gyoza.
How do gyoza and rice bowls fit into the menu?
Gyoza and rice bowls are confirmed dishes alongside ramen. The official description calls attention to gyoza browning and gives Char Siu Don as a rice-bowl example using prepared ramen ingredients. Prepare the actual ordered dish, and keep these tasks visible when a customer also needs ramen or a drink.
The Steam description establishes the dishes, but does not supply a universal gyoza cooking time, rice portion or guaranteed browning score. Use the current cooking prompts and dish feedback. The ramen menu guide covers bowl assembly separately.
| Dish or interaction | Confirmed detail | What to check during service |
|---|---|---|
| Gyoza | Browning is part of cooking | Watch the food and the current controls |
| Chashu Rice Bowl | Its displayed name and icon depend on toppings | Compare the finished dish with the order |
| Chashu and Green Onion Rice Bowl | The patch distinguishes it from the Chashu version | Check the topping combination |
| Rice cooker | Uncooked rice heating merely because it was placed inside was fixed | Follow the intended interaction prompts |
| Loaded gyoza | Failure to remove gyoza from the grill after loading was fixed | Update before treating this as intended behavior |
The name, icon and bug changes come from the Day 1 patch. They do not reveal exact portions or preparation times.
How can I coordinate side dishes with ramen and beer?
Track the complete customer order before starting another dish. A useful editorial approach is to prepare shared ingredients together, then keep each finished item associated with its customer. Coordinate gyoza observation, rice-bowl assembly and drinks rather than letting a completed ramen bowl make the rest of the order easy to forget.
- Read all requested items and toppings.
- Prepare ingredients shared with the ramen station where appropriate.
- Keep the gyoza cooking task in view while working on other dishes.
- Check the rice-bowl name and toppings before serving.
- Confirm whether the customer also needs a drink.
- Recheck the order after delivery so unfinished items remain visible.
This is a suggested organization method, not a verified priority algorithm. The ticket workflow explains how to keep one order readable through preparation and delivery. If beer is included, its fill and foam rules need a separate check; rice-bowl names tell you nothing about drink quality.
What should I do if a tutorial or loaded dish seems stuck?
First check that the game includes the launch patch and read the current objective. The update fixed gyoza removal after loading, corrected recognition of the specified dish in the gyoza-tray tutorial, and adjusted temperature comments for the Chashu and Green Onion Rice Bowl to match that dish.
A past failure to remove loaded gyoza is therefore a documented bug, rather than proof that the food must stay on the grill. The rice-cooker fix likewise does not mean that placing rice inside should automatically begin every cooking process. Avoid inventing a recovery key or timing trick from either bug report.
If a problem persists, an editorial troubleshooting note should record the dish, tutorial objective, whether a save was loaded and the visible prompt. That gives a more useful report than changing several unrelated cooking steps at once.
Does “Seared to Perfection” require a perfect gyoza rating?
The official achievement condition is to serve gyoza once. Its name does not define a browning percentage or a perfect score requirement. Complete the basic dish and service action first; use the customer’s actual response to refine cooking afterward instead of treating the achievement title as a recipe instruction.
The Steam achievement list states this condition. For the wider progression checklist, see all achievements. No rice-bowl achievement or exact gyoza scoring formula is established by that list.
